Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC)

• 1st Class Meeting scheduled for Thursday 11 June 2009 at 1830 hrs
• Meet and great, answer some lingering questions, and hand out text books at this meeting
• Classes are on Mondays and Thursdays in Damascus MD from 1830 to 2200

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Whitetail Ski Patrol is governed by the following Principles:

·    Render emergency medical care to persons sustaining accidents or sudden illness.

·    Train patrollers to make them ready to render emergency medical care.

·    Promote public safety in snow sports to prevent accidents wherever practical. 

·    Participate in and contribute to various activities that support the Patrol's well being, that make the Patrol viable, and keeps its commitments to the above three principles.

Patrol Affiliations

The Whitetail Ski Patrol is affiliated with the National Ski Patrol System, Inc. (NSP).

The Whitetail Ski Patrol is affiliated with the Eastern Division of the NSP.

The Whitetail Ski Patrol is affiliated with the Eastern Pennsylvania Region of the NSP.

The Whitetail Ski Patrol is affiliated with the Southwest Section of the NSP.

In addition to its own By‑Laws and operating procedures, the Whitetail Ski Patrol shall be governed according to the National Ski Patrol System, Inc.'s Articles of Incorporation, By‑Laws, Rules and Procedures, including, but not limited to, those procedures adopted by the National Ski Patrol System, Inc. dealing with and defining a ski patrol's relationship with and responsibilities to the management of the area at which it patrols.
